A large-format floor urn with an amphora-inspired silhouette — broad shoulders tapering to a narrow base, with a rolled rim.
The finish layers ochre, burnt sienna, and raw earth tones over a terracotta base, with gold foiling applied in irregular, overlapping patches across the surface. Deliberately distressed to appear worn and partially lifted, the foiling mimics the look of ancient gilded vessels — bright where the metal holds, deep and warm where the clay shows through. The result reads less like a painted finish and more like something unearthed: beautiful precisely because of what time has done to it.
